Hi I'm Hayley

I am a music teacher, a wife, a mom, and a friend. I love living. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I married a great man years ago and we have three small children. My husband and I both went into music education in college and are band teachers. We both love music and play brass instruments in various musical theaters in our area. As a mom, I try to balance the daily struggle of work and home with as much ease as possible. I love my children very much and want the best for them. They are precious to me. I volunteer at their schools, help foster their interests, help them to love God, and try to help them see the importance of family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up LDS, but that doesn't mean I was always converted. I love the gospel and I did even as a child. One day, however, when I was sitting with my family, my parents were teaching us a gospel lesson, and deep inside, I just knew it was true. It was almost like something told me it was real, but more of a feeling than anything else. I know that the teachings are true and they help guide me in my life. My life is far from perfect. I go through struggles, spiritual and physical, but I can feel the love of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and our loving Father.

How I live my faith

I use the talents I have been given to help with the music in our church. I lead music in various meetings, I have helped with large events that combine many of our church congregations, and I have been able to teach the sisters and children. I feel that the best way that I can serve in my church is by teaching my own children how to love others and live the standards that the gospel asks.
