Hi I'm Ryan

I like business, enjoy home remodeling projects, camping along the Oregon Coast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a city until I was 11 and then moved to my grandpa's farm. I spent the rest of my teen years growing up and doing a little bit of work on the farm. The day after graduating I moved out to a desolate location in the middle of Nevada and worked on a hay ranch for the summer. I went on a mission, came home, and married an incredible woman. We have four beautiful girls and have a wonderful time together. We spend a lot of time on home remodeling projects and small hobby farms. If my wife hasn't been ripping out a wall or flooring, she is busy with her wonderful cooking or sewing projects. I enjoy business and process improvement. Any business process can be improved and I love looking for the best way to do it. Camping is awesome. We love to get away in our little trailer and enjoy the peace and quiet as a family, and with family. It's nice to get away from the wild and hectic schedules, running around, and enjoy the peace of nature. I also enjoy spending time on my tractors and trying to grow a crop. At this point in time though, I'm going to have to resort to a smaller garden spot I think.

Why I am a Mormon

F-A-M-I-L-Y The best part of my life is my family. My incredible wife and four wonderful daughters add a dimension to my life that makes not being an eternal family unimaginable. Therefore I will stand as a witness at all times, share my testimony through my actions and works, and through the power of the priesthood, serve God's children with whom I am blessed to be acquainted with. Testimony is like salt. Once you've tasted it, you understand what it means when someone else refers to it. That's a testimony. I know that God the Father sent Jesus Christ here to earth so that we might all be able to repent, be forgiven of our sins, and live with that loving Father in Heaven again, if we will try. I know it in my heart. I know it in my mind. Just like you know how salt tastes and so do I.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being around people. I have volunteered in my kid's school classes, attended city and other government meetings and want to learn from those around me as well as share with others what makes me who I am. At church I work with the youth and help organize social functions for our congregation. It is great to see people come together and enjoy time with each other. This interaction helps build up communities and smaller groups and organizations that are trying to make things better.
