Hi I'm Fawne

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I am a business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. My husband and I own two businesses that we work on together. I like to cook and enjoy trying new recipes that I discover on cooking blogs. We love spending time together as a family. We like everything from a cookout in the mountains to a game night at home.

Why I am a Mormon

I have ancestors who joined the LDS church when it was first organized in 1830, but I have gained a testimony of my own that this church is true. I am grateful for the knowledge of a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers my prayers. I know that His son Jesus Christ is my Savior and that it is through His atoning sacrifice that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. My family is so important to me and I know that we can live together as a family forever because we have been sealed in the temple. As I exercise my faith in Jesus Christ, I can find peace and hope in this sometimes tumultuous world.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to work with the young women ages 12 to 18 and their ward leaders. I get to be a part of putting together various activities for them. One of the activities is a monthly youth dance that gives the youth a chance to socialize in a good, uplifting environment. All youth ages 14 to 18 who will abide by the standards are welcome. We recently participated in a dance festival that was held for our area. Over a period of approximately three months, the youth learned different "ballroom" type dances and then came together for two days to practice and then finally perform. We had over 1,000 participants. The youth enjoyed learning a different style of dance and the accomplishment of perfecting their performance. They had fun being with their friends both old and new. We have some great youth who know who they are and have great faith. They are an example of kindness to those around them. They show love for their families and love their Heavenly Father. They uphold high standards of morality. They have a desire to serve others. They are our future leaders and we will be in good hands.
