Hi I'm Cassie Farar

I am cool and normal... I am a Mormon. :D

About Me

I am a poor college student at Arizona State University (ASU). I enjoy singing and have sung in choirs on campus as apart of ASU and the LDS institute on ASU Tempe campus. I am a Family Human Development major and when I grow up I want to be a full-time mom. :) I believe that it is important for mom's to raise their own children if possible. I would hate to miss out on my future children's lives. With that being said, I am well on my way to becoming a mom (in the next few years). I am currently engaged to a wonderful young man who I proudly claim as my own. We are so excited to become an eternal family and be together forever! "Can life get any better? I submit that it cannot!" ~Brian Regan. Furthermore, I have seven older brothers that watch over and take care of me, and have been doing so since I was in diapers. :) Although, the glue that truly binds my siblings and I together is our loving mother and father that are always there for us no matter what mistakes we have made. What a great blessing they are in my life! But, with school, work, and a wedding to plan how do I do it all? Well friends, my answer for you is Heavenly Father knows me very well. He knows my needs and has blessed me with a great life and wonderful people that have helped me to become the person I am today. And that is me in a nutshell. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. I know that He listens to my prayers and answers them. I am Mormon because I know that Jesus died for me and would do it all over again if it was only me that was sent down here to be tested and tried, so that i may return to my Father in Heaven and have eternal life. I am Mormon because I know that I will be able to live with my family forever if I am worthy. I am Mormon because of the Spirit that witnesses so strongly to me that this is the true church. I am Mormon because my questions can be answered with a completeness that I have not seen in other faiths.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being me... I strive to live the teachings of the Church. I make spiritual goals and try to achieve them through the help of those around me, specifically my fiance. One such goal is to visit the Mesa Temple at least monthly. We have found that this strengths us and gives us the uplifting that is needed when everything else tries to bring us down. I also try to see people as Christ would see them, although I am not perfect at doing this I like to look upon the ASU campus and see people and think about what struggles they may be going through and what events happened in their lives that has affected them. I see the changes that need to take place in my life and set goals to make those changes, so that I may become closer to our God. I live my faith day by day.
