Hi I'm Glynn Ralph

I try to have fun every day and enjoy every minute of my life and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very simple person. I have many interest some are woodworking, sports, and playing with my family. I enjoy being around my four children and playing and working and serving with them. Some of my favorite activities with them are water skiing, camping at Lake Powell, and playing any kind of game with them...I usually win.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon is simple. My Parents are members and so I went with them to church every week. I was baptized at age 8 and so that made me a member. However I was not truly converted for many years later. When I was 17 I went to boot camp. I was determined that I was not going to go to church the entire summer. As it turned out I missed one week of church and that was enough for me to recognize that I was missing something. It was the feeling that I get being around other people trying to become better people themselves. With that experience I looked closer at my true beliefs. Do I believe that the Book of Mormon is true? Is Joseph Smith a true Prophet? With these two questions in mind I read the Book of Mormon. I came to realize that when I read this Book I have a peaceful feeling again. I also know that a young farm boy with little schooling could never make up such stories. So where did the stories come from? With the testimony's of the three witnesses of the existence of the gold plates, the stories that came from those plates testifying of Christ, and the feeling I get when I read this marvelous book, I had logically knew it was true. I then went to my knee's to take it to my Heavenly Father and it was quickly cemented into my heart that all of it is true. IT IS TRUE! The plan to make it back to our Father. What steps we have to make to live with him again. The fact that he is a loving Father who does not leave us in dark times to fend for ourselves, but gives us a living Prophet to guide us through troubling times. The knowledge that even though I make mistakes, he has given us a way to come back to Him through our brother Jesus Christ. I am thankful for this sweet message and the joy that it bring to my life.

How I live my faith

I try every day to live my life so that my Father in Heaven would find me to most valiant. I obey a health code, that helps me stay away from addictions. I try to follow my Savior and live by his example of helping those that stand in need of comfort. To talk to those that need more of the true light in their lives. I hope to inspire others around me to live more Christ like lives. I try to raise children that are respectful of others and kind and willing to work hard for the needs of others and not just them selves.
