Hi I'm SaJatah

I'm a student, a traveler, and a terrible cook- but I'm working on it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a university student, working hard to survive and graduate. I'm studying to teach history to teenage students. I hope I'll be able to help students better understand other cultures and broaden the way they view the world. I love getting to know new people and getting lost in new places (especially when new foods are involved). I love to read, especially the classics, and I'm always up for a bike ride. I really love my religion, and I appreciate that you're taking the time to learn a bit more about the way I look at life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes sense and I feel that its right. I know God is real and I feel that He is my Father when I speak to Him in prayer. I know that His son, Jesus Christ, sacrificed His life so that each of us can become all we were meant to be. I know that God speaks to prophets because of the way I think and feel when I study their words in the Bible, and I know He still speaks to prophets today because of the Book of Mormon. I learned so much about all of these things from the Book of Mormon, I love that book. This religion has helped me strengthen my relationships with God and Jesus Christ, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm doing my best to understand the things Jesus Christ taught and really do the things He asked. I look to Him as a perfect example of how to love others, build meaningful relationships, and live a useful and happy life. I'm really trying to be just like Him. I often make mistakes, but I know, thanks to His sacrifice, I can rely on Him to help me improve.
