Hi I'm Spencer!

I love the outdoors. I am currently serving a mission in Washington. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of three children. I was born and raised in Idaho and California. I completed one year of college in Idaho and am now currently serving a mission in Washington. Back at home I loved to hang out with my friends, go hiking and backpacking with my family, play sports such as ultimate Frisbee and soccer! After my mission, I plan on finishing college with a degree in computer engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have gained a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I have read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and then followed the promise given in both the front and back of the book to read and then pray with real intent, asking if the Book of Mormon is true. Through the Holy Ghost, I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God that restored His true church once again on the earth today. I am very thankful for my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I am also thankful for my testimony that I know God lives and that His son Jesus Christ atoned for all the sins of the world, and that through His atonement, we can repent and become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I strive to show others how I live by my example. By nature I love to help others and make sure everyone around me is happy. In my ward back at home I taught a class every third Sunday out of the Gospel Principles book. Having that calling has helped me love to teach and to love those I teach. I am always striving to look for ways to help those who are around me. Right now I am serving as a missionary for the church, and I love the opportunities it gives me to help others come closer to Christ through faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and then helping them continue to live faithfully to all of God's commandments.
