Hi I'm Marshall Douglas

I'm a Mormon. My mother passed away when I was 6 years old. My father was Presbyterian, becoming a Mormon later in life.

About Me

I have been a self employed real estate developer for over 30 years and became successful in Network Marketing about 15 years ago and have focused on that profession since. I enjoy fishing and boating with my two sons and wife of 39 years.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother passed away when I was 6 years old leaving my twin brother and a 3 year old brother with my Father. My father was Presbyterian but not active or involved. He felt it was important for us to be involved with a church, so we attended his church with an Aunt and also attended the Mormon church with friends of my mother. As we three boys approached our teenage years, Dad saw the need to attend church with us as a family and began to attend and study the tenates of both the Presbyterian and Mormon churches together as a family. The tipping point for us as a family in moving into the Mormon Church was the understanding of the plan of salvation. Where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. With the Mormon faith it was so clear I needed to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, my personal Lord and Savior in order to fulfill the measure of my earthly existance, and enjoy the blessings of raising my own family.

How I live my faith

As a 35 year member of the Local Kiwanis Club and with active involvement in many local civic events for that same period of time, when friends of mine hears concerns that Mormons may not be Christian...they are dumbfounded. As they have wittnessed my Christian wittness for many years.
