Hi I'm Lisa

I am a civil engineering student, I am a genealogist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a returning student going for a civil engineering degree and currently researching landslides caused by earthquakes. with my degree I hope to improve other people's lives. Currently I am working with Engineers Without Borders at school and have traveled to Bolivia with the group to implement projects. When I'm not studying, I enjoy cycling, hiking as well as a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church for all my life but have learned and grown my testimony relying on the gospel in times of hardship. I am Mormon because I know Heavenly Father's Plan for me and I want to return to his presence.

How I live my faith

Besides working with Engineers Without Borders, I volunteer in other ways and helping make life easier for others. I try to always find a way to help someone each day, even if it is as small as holding a door open. I have worked in the Family History Center for several years and help others with their Genealogy, especially friends from school and work getting them excited about their ancestors.
