Hi I'm Mark

I grew up on a farm in Washington state. My family and I now live in Colorado where I am a dentist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a lover of all things outdoors, that is where I like to spend my time...climbing mountains, road and mountain biking, snowboarding, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a Latter Day Saint home, blessed with parents who taught the gospel in word and, more importantly, by example. They had great faith in Jesus Christ and His church. However, one can only use the testimony or faith of another for so long. In my late teenage years I earnestly searched for truth, and after much study, reading and prayer was given my own confirmation that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true gospel on the earth today. I believe that living the princples of the gospel is helping me become a better person over time.

How I live my faith

As a Latter Day Saint, I strive at all times to do what is right. I am far from perfect, but work each day at trying to become better. In my occupation my endeavor is to treat others as I would like to be treated and to always be honest with my fellowman. I currently have the opportunity to serve in the Boy Scouts of America program, specifically working with the 11 year old scouts in our troop. They are a kick! Through the church and as a citizen of our community I have numerous other opportunities to serve my family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
