Hi I'm Chase

I grew up entertaining tourists in a wild west show. I'm in school to be an orthodontist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like technology, playing the piano, a bit of painting and mostly just playing with my three young children. I spend a LOT of time in orthodontic residency.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon means a great deal to me. I have known of the love Jesus Christ has for as long as I can remember, and I first gained a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true when I was 11 years old. Simple and sweet, I read the Book of Mormon every night and felt the Holy Ghost. That's how I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gives me plenty of opportunities for service. I really love helping people when they need a hand. For example, we have recently helped a church member who had some health problems with her yard. Today, about 25 church members helped a family pack their moving truck. It just makes me feel good to serve others. At work, I'm a doctor, and do little administrative work, but at church right now, I'm a secretary for a local leader called a Bishop. I set up appointments, coordinate schedules, and welcome new people to the congregation. It is really gratifying for me to help out and it makes me more grateful for the people who help me at work. I have lived in several places and everywhere I have gone, I have been able to find a group of faithful church members. It seems like it takes me about 8 months or so of getting to know people, but after about that long, I find that I have so many new heroes. Their lives are examples of courage and faith. Pretty soon, I find that their experiences have made me better and more motivated to do my best.
