Hi I'm Robyn

I'm a stay at home wife and mother. I am passionate about good nutrition, green living, and homeopathy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In the course of raising children, I learned that taking care of my health and the health of my family members needed to take a higher priority than it had when I was younger and single. It's been a fantastic and fun journey learning about what good health really means. Along the way I discovered an alternative medicine called homeopathy, which has resulted in healing so many things in my family: asthma, allergies, insomnia, flu, bedwetting, migraines, heartburn, even emotional challenges. It doesn't fix everything, but it heals a wide range of ailments and is easily accessible and inexpensive. I am also passionate about the dietary principles of the Weston R. Price Foundation and the communication program called Non-Violent Communication.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by inactive Mormon parents but somehow made it to church regularly as a young child and was baptized by an uncle when I was nine. My parents divorced around that time and remarried a man who was an alcoholic. Growing up in that environment was very painful and difficult, but holding to the gospel principles of faith, prayer and scripture study helped me through that time in a way that nothing or no one else could. I personally felt God's influence in my life many times during this experience. As a result, there is no doubt in my mind that God exists, that Jesus Christ is my personal friend and Saviour, and that the principles that the Mormon church teaches really do teach you how to connect with God and enjoy the blessings He has to offer.

How I live my faith

I serve in any way that I can, to those I come across who are in need. Jesus Christ is my example in this way. Right now I teach the adults in my ward, where we study the scriptures together. I have also taught many young children's classes.
