Hi I'm Cary

I'm a Mormon. All my life and I'm so grateful for that blessing. I love the peace that I feel from my membership.

About Me

I am retired, single love golf and being outdoors. My family is from south central Utah and I love visiting that area. I hope to live in that area someday.

Why I am a Mormon

Other than being born in to a Mormon family I had to find out for myself that what my parents had taught me. I believe that Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw...that the Book of Mormon is true, it is what it says it is and as Joseph said that a person can get closer to God by reading and following that book than any other book...I believe that and have spent my adult life sharing that. The most important thing I get from being a Mormon is the peace that comes for a Heavenly Father and a Savior, that peace is for all to have and is freely given. Try it for yourself, I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I've worked with the youth..being a Sundy school teacher was great fun. Seeing ideas received in young minds I a great charge. Working with Boy Scouts has also been a passion. I love Family History work and try to help as many as I can with their Family History. I teach a beginners Sunday School class and love seeing the gospel message register with new members of our church. Would love to see you there.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

I believe in the adage....ye lift me and I lift thee and we both ascend together... sometimes having an empty belly or no where to get warm keeps one from thinking about higher things, and helping others is what the Savior wants us to do. Show more Show less
