Hi I'm Alan

I've lived in The Marysville, Washington area most of my life. I love to play sports and run. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Provo, Utah while my dad was attending Brigham Young University. We moved to the Detroit area when my dad got a job at Ford and I spent a few of my childhood years there. Then we moved to Washington and have been here ever since. I have had a great life with a great family. I enjoy exercising and playing sports. I also like to collect coins and things and hang out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my whole life, but I'm not a Mormon just for the sake of continuity. I continue in my faith because I have gained a knowledge of several different truths. Most importantly that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He loves me, and all of us, and that he died for us, so that we might someday be able to live with him and our Heavenly Father again. I know this to be true, and I am thankful for all that God has done for me.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church by helping the younger boys. Our church supports the Cub Scouts program, and I am the Webelos leader; which is the 10 year old boys. I also help out with the other cub scouts, ages 8 and 9. They are good kids and our goal is to help them have fun, and advance in rank and also learn important moral and ethical values. The cub scout law is; The cub scout follows Akela. The cub scout helps the pack go. The pack helps the cub scout grow. The cub scout gives good will.
