Hi I'm Eleen Carr

I'm a Mormon, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and have found my greatest treasure within.

About Me

I am a single mother of four wonderful children. I have currently returned to school to finish an education I started at BYU. I love music, in many forms and genre. I love learning of new places and meeting new people, especially when they are willing to share their story. I have endured many trials in the past few years. I have, at times, been stretched to extremes. There have been many times I have felt lonely but have never been left alone. I am so grateful for my membership in this great church. I know that families can be together forever. I know that the Lord extends His hand to each of us on a daily basis, He is always there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. Somewhere deep in my spirit I have always known where I came from and who I am. I am a daughter of God. I know that the Savior lived on this earth, died for us, and was resurrected. I know that because of this great event, we can live with Him again, if we live our lives in a way that will allow us to be in His presence. We have a living prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. The gospel was restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith Jr. The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have the guidance and truth it brings in my life.

How I live my faith

I love children and have had the opportunity to work with the youth in many settings. The world today can be a very confusing and frustrating place at times. It is so amazing to watch them learn and grow, go and do things that uplift and encourage. They are our future and hold the keys to improve and help in many areas worldwide. I also learn and grow from watching them in the innocent way they serve and love selflessly.
