Hi I'm Richard

I'm a Mormon. I'm your neighbor. I'm an R&D scientist and avid cyclist

About Me

I was raised in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah. I was born to goo parents who raised me to have a strong work ethic and be dedicated to the things I love. While I was not a good student in high school I was fortunate enough to attend college at Weber State and Utah State Universities were I was blessed with some great teachers that helped me excel. I now work in the dairy foods industry and love the variety of things I get to do and am again blessed to have a few people to work with that seem to help bring out the best in me and have given me opportunity beyond my wildest dreams. I thank the Lord daily for my talents and blessings that have helped me achieve so much.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because as a young boy a primary teacher taught me that through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ families could be together forever. Though my family while growing up became inactive from the church and my parents later divorced I never forgot what that primary teacher said that Sunday afternoon about families. Through roughly 10 years of inactivity I would think about one day having a family and being together forever. One day the church movie "Together Forever" played on TV, this started my journey back to full activity in the church and laid the ground work for me to meet you future bride and marry in the temple for all time and eternity. That was and will always be the greatest day of my life. We now have a son and two daughters who will also be a part of family forever. I am blessed t be linked to my father, grandfather, great-grandfather and those before them. I'm a Mormon because the church is true. I know this because the spirit of my Father and Heaven has born witness of this fact to me through the holy spirit.

How I live my faith

I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to serve in many different callings in the church and though each experience my love of Jesus Christ and his gospel has grown. When we moved to Colorado we desired to be near the temple and were blessed to find a home that made the temple and its blessings easily accessible to our family.
