Hi I'm Samuel Clegg

Im from Dayton Tx. Currently Serving in Pocatello, Idaho or the IPM i love sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Samuel i am an Eagle Scout and a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been a member all my life and i am thankful everyday that i am a member of this amazing church. I like to hang out with friends, spend time with family and do things that make me and others happy. I am not attending a college right now because im on a mission in Pocatello Idaho (IPM). But i have attended a year of college and will finish it up after my mission i am thinking about going into the medical field or a branch of it. I have done service all my life as many times as i can. Doing service is allowing me to bring joy to others. It allows me to help others know about charity or the pure love of christ. Being a member of the true church is a great blessing because of the joy that i have knowing of gods plan for me.

Why I am a Mormon

i decided to be baptized when i was 8 years old by my dad. I am a mormon because it is the best thing that i could do. I wake up in the morning and am happy to live the gospel of jesus christ. It is nice to know that you are worth something. Its nice to have a peaceful life and to be able to live with your family for more than just this life. I have been a member all my life and when i was 17 i wanted to know if the church was really true so as i was reading the book of mormon i stopped and prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true and i received an answer but it took time and a true test of faith. It was a test of my faith and as i recieved an answer, i recieved a peaceful feeling and a deep burning in my chest. I will tell anyone who asks me if the church is true without a doubt in my heart that it is the true church. having the spirit constantly is great because it warns you of danger and helps you know if what your doing is what heavenly father and jesus christ want us to do. It is great knowing that i had parents who raised me to help me be able to overcome the trials for myself and not have to worry because there are alot of things that are out there to separate you spiritually from god and i have been taught to stay pure and clean to with stand the things in this world. Knowing that i am a son of God is comforting because i know that he is looking out for me guiding me along the path that i need to go on and that I can live with him and my future family forever

How I live my faith

I am a member of a nation wide emergency team that helps during national disasters and am part of a neighborhood rescue and recovery team. I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am glad that i am on my mission because it is the best thing that i have ever done. I was a primary teacher and i was a primary teacher with my friend. I was a hometeacher and i loved being with friends and family and am glad that i am in this church. how i live my faith is by doing the will of Heavenly father and Jesus Christ. Always following what he would want me to do and bringing joy to others is one of my goals. Helping others come unto christ is one of my biggest goals now and in the future. i will give service to anyone that needs it without even asking. i love to give service because i feel i need to do it. i am here to learn everything that i can so that i can be an example of those around me and so that i can return to my heavenly father again. No matter what happens in this life like trials i know that it is for my good because the lord wouldn't give you any trials if you couldnt handle them because of his love for each and every one of us. He wants all of us to come back to live with him so living the gospel of Jesus christ is important because it is that faith , repentance, baptism, recieving the holy ghost and enduring to the end that allows us to get through this life and return to him.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Samuel Clegg
well being a missionary my self i can answer this one for you. i like thousands of others pay for our own missions going and talking about the joy that they have found about the restoration of the gospel and about heavenly fathers plan of salvation and about his atonement. we arent payed to be on missions we give of ourselves to help others know how much heavenly father and jesus christ loves us. I know that if you meet with the missionaries and open your heart and mind to what they teach you that you will come to know of gods love for you even more and know what he would have you to do.
