Hi I'm Virginia

I'm a Wife, I'm a Proud Mother, I'm an Excited Grandmother & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California, by parents who grew up during the depression. I was the only girl with an older brother and a younger brother, and my parents, (especially my father) adored me. By the time I graduated from High School, we'd moved 11 times within the western United States. After High School, I began what would be a 40 year career in Dental Offices, with a few brakes while having my three boys and finally a daughter (within five years). All four of my children are now married, and have given us nine grandchildren...So far. I enjoy taking a cruise when we can afford it. We do a bit of "camping" in our RV every summer. My cross stitching seems to be giving way to my new found hobby - quilting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS Family and raised on the principles of the church. During my life, there have been several times where my faith has carried through my difficulties. After enough experiences testing and challenging my own faith, I realized that I had a strong testimony in my Savior, Jesus Christ, the Priesthood, the Restoration and so much more.

How I live my faith

I teach a provident living class each Sunday about becoming more self reliant. We love visiting and sharing life stories and family experiences. Through participating in the Linus project, I developed a love for quilting, when we made quilts for terminally ill children at Children's Hospital. I have participated in many humanitarian aid efforts.
