Hi I'm Briste

I am a convert. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the church 8 years ago. I am a wife of a dentist. I am a mom to a two year old energetic beautiful little girl and to our dog, a beagle boxer mix. I Love my family! I grew up on a dairy farm. I love to hang out with my family and friends. I love to be warm. I love to wear sneakers. I love girls night out!! I love to travel. I love to watch football with my husband. I love to connect and catch up with my friends who live all over the country!

Why I am a Mormon

In June of 2003 I was searching for something. Something was missing in my life. My life felt empty. I was looking for that happiness and plan in my life and was wondering why we were put on this earth. I wanted a plan in my life that was going to take me somewhere. I was looking to better myself. That is when I met a dear friend and we talked about what our goals were in life and how do we achieve them and why are we here on this earth. She told me that families could be together forever! The impact that conversation made on my life has been the best blessing in my whole life. I know lives can be changed during seemingly insignificant opportunities. She had the courage to talk to me and share her beliefs and feelings and I am so thankful that she did. I am forever grateful. She told me about the womens organization of the church where we meet to become friends and become closer to Christ. I love knowing that I have instant friends and other woman that care about me and a real sense of belonging no matter where I am in the world. I want to tell you how thankful I am to have met my friend and to have been introduced to the mormon church and how grateful I am to be a member.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to teach my little girl to live the gospel everyday by saying our prayers and reading our scriptures. I also try to have one night a week as a family night where we learn about becoming more like Christ. I am definitely not perfect at this but I am trying to do my best. I love visiting with the other ladies in our church in their homes and making friends and sharing a monthly gospel message with them. I love getting to know the other moms and helping out in any way I can. I work with the girls that are the ages 8-11 in our church. We meet twice a month and have a little lesson and an activity. I love working with them. I love Seeing them interact and growing closer to each other and to Christ. I know the gospel is an amazing thing and certainly nothing can bring us more peace and happiness than living the gospel.
