Hi I'm Paul

I work in College Athletics. I love Fishing. I am my wife's biggest fan. I'm a Dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three beautiful girls and a husband to the most beautiful woman in the world. I guess you could say everything I do revolves around my family. My wife and I feel blessed to have these special little spirits that provide us with so much joy on a daily basis. I work in College Athletics which gives me the opportunity to interact with many different people and also gives me a chance to be a fan. I love college sports and I love tradition. I am news junky and love to stay updated on the latest in world events. Fishing is the greatest family activity in the world, and Friday night is date night in our home. I come from a large Brady Bunch style family and there is nothing better than a family reunion full of water balloon fights, and pie eating contests. I love practical jokes, and Mexican food but not in that order. I guess you can say I am a regular guy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly believe God has a plan for me. I don't think life is meant to be easy, and I don't think God forces us to do anything, but I do believe that God is waiting to answer all of our questions and has given us the tools to find those answers. Something that has helped me get through the tough times in my life and has helped me overcome a few of my many weaknesses is the knowledge that God is truly our father. Knowing that He knows me and more importantly who I can become if I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ gives me confidence that I can accomplish anything if I trust in Him. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true. If a person wants to know for themselves if it is true then all it takes is a real desire, some time to read it, and the faith to ask God in prayer if it is true. I guess that is what I love about being a Mormon. No one has ever told me to believe anything just because they do. God want his children to all find out for themselves if it is true. That is the only way to know for yourself. I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ lives. There is no greater gift than knowing that my sins, my weaknesses, and my daily short comings can be forgiven through Jesus Christ. I am a better husband, a better father, and a better person because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Serving others is a way that I can show my love for Jesus Christ and also love for God's children. I have the opportunity to serve others often through simply visiting other families in our congregation on a monthly basis to help them in any way I can. Serving other people no matter how small can change the lives of those that need the service. It also help me realize what's most important in this life.
