Hi I'm Enola

I grew up in the Midwest. I am a loving mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 2 beautiful little girls. I work hard and love the time with my girls. I love the outdoors including activities such as fishing and swimming. In my spare time I like to spend time with my girls, read, fish, and just relax. I also love the time spent with fiance and his two children. Family is very important to me and love the closeness to everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I was agnostic before I talked to the missionaries because all of the conflicting views of religion were just something that made no sense to me. I started talking to the missionaries and they started explaining things to me. As visits progressed things were starting to come together and I realized more each visit that the Book of Mormon was a perfect companion to the bible. It answered the questions that the Bible did not and the Bible answered questions that the Book of Mormon did not. The missionaries answered some questions I had they were very open and I agreed with the views of the church. I felt very at home with everyone in the Ward. The many blessings I have received from the church have a big impact on my life. The scriptures are something that help me through low times. The spirit is constantly with me and the service to others is just an amazing feeling. The big thing that made my decision clear was prayer. I didn't realize the power of prayer until I was told that I must prayer to know this church is true. Prayer truly holds all the answers for those who want to know the truth. I do know that those willing to listen will receive many great blessings. I live them everyday and I have truly been blessed. I know what I have learned is truth and I know prayers are answered daily. My trust in God was restored when I was baptized. It came at the right time. When I prayed for guidance with in 2 days I had two missionaries at my door. That was 3 years ago and I am glad to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I do tell my family and friends of the church. I also am very open with others how the church has helped me. I give the missionaries names of friends who I know may receptive to the gospel and are in need of guidance.

What is being a Mormon like?

Enola
I have learned how much family has meant to us. Aslo the one thing that I love is the willingness of everyone at church just willing to serve and help out with whatever they can. It is comforting to know that we are accepting of everyone no matter what walk of life you come from. I have also been able to develope a relationship with my Heavenly Father and renewed my faith that he has a purpose for everything. The best thing is the love and compassion to serve people. Being Mormon does not change my bubbly personality or the love I have to serve people. I did have that before I was baptized, but learning about why we should do service for others has become more aparent since I have been baptized. It gave me a new outlook on things. I have a renewed faith and a purpose. Because of the blessings I have received has enriched my life, I want those around to have that renewed joy that being Mormon brings. It is not just a religion to me it is an unbreakable faith even with all the misconceptions. Being Mormon has also given me a solid foundation for my daughters. It has strengthened my relationship with my fiance and I am proud to say he has recently been baptized. I am proud to say I am Mormon and I love the confidence I have found not only at home but at work. It is difficult to completely describe what it is like to be Mormon but I know that we are like everyone else. We work normal jobs and we all have a strong faith and testimony that God we always guide us to the right choice. Show more Show less
