Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Drummer, I enjoy music and technology and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 5 wonderful children and a husband to the most beautiful, kind and loving wife. I work in the Information Technology field and I like working with computers and gadgets. As much as I enjoy listening to music I enjoy even more playing the drums and making music. I like watching movies especially the classics, anything with John Wayne. I also have an interest in local and national politics.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that we have a purpose here in this life and that we have a loving Heavenly Father who has prepared a way back for each of us. There are certain principles, ordinances and laws that we must follow if we want to return to live him some day. The gospel teaches that we are children of our Heavenly Father and as such Christ has established his church today just as he did during The Old and New Testament times. I love that the gospel teaches us how to return to him but that we can be together as a family not just for this life but forever.

How I live my faith

The gospel is a part of my life so it is a part of who I am. The gospel effects what I do, how I think and the goals I strive for. I am no where even close to being perfect however living my faith helps me to be a better person, father and husband. Just as an athlete practices each day to become better at what he or she does the same principle applies with the gospel. I try to practice what I believe. I make mistakes and my faith teaches that it is possible to correct those mistakes and to learn from them and move on. I live my faith by serving in and out of the church and finding opportunities to help others. The gospel teaches us how to be more Christ like which is a characteristic I want to strive for.
