Hi I'm Bart

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

in FloridI spent 20 years in the Air Force flying Bombers. I retired and started a new career in commercial aviation flying for a company. My wife and I have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. I enjoy running, biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, flying, and most other sports. Presently I am training for an Ironman triathalon race and hope to finish.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church and as I approach the age of 19 I was looking at going on a mission for the LDS church. I had always believed in the teachings but I had never really asked my Heavenly Father to know for myself rather then just believing on my parents and teachers. I received a distinct feeling of love from my Heavenly Father and a feeling that I was on the correct path. Since that time I have received spiritual confirmation of the teachings of the LDS church as I have read the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and listened to the Prophets and Apostles and other church leaders. The more I learn, the more it all makes sense to me. I continue to go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is the true Church of God on the earth and it is led by a prophet of God who holds all the keys of the Kingdom of God. These keys are essential to direct the work of God on the earth.

How I live my faith

tThe gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us to be kind and considerate of others. It teaches us to help others and reach out to the poor and needy. I have several families that I visit monthly and have built good relationships with. I have become good friends with them and they feel comfortable in calling for my help when they need more help.
