Hi I'm Ken

I'm an extremely, happily married man with 6 children. I'm a Mormon. I've been one all my life.

About Me

I'm a husband, and a father of 6. I work in the healthcare industry, on the IT side of things. I enjoy working outside, gardening, hiking, camping, skiing, and most outdoor activities. I like to consider myself as handy, but more a 'jack-of-all, and master-of-nothing' sort of guy. I enjoy life and living. I like technology and electronics. One thing I love to do is sing. I've been a member of many different choirs during high school, college, church, and now a member of the Colorado Mormon Chorale. I also enjoy teaching. I've taught at the college level, and plan to do so in my retirement years, maybe when my wife and I serve a mission together. However, that won't be for quite a while.

Why I am a Mormon

I love our Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know that I belong to his church. I love the idea that continuing revelation exists, and that a prophet is here on the earth. To me, being a Mormon means being an example of what Christ taught. I strive to love everyone, serve everywhere, and give of my time and talents. Why am I a Mormon? I am because I believe in what I have learned in the scriptures. Even more, I practice what I've learned. I'm by no means perfect, but I hope to be more so each day, and try to help others along the way. I think that's what Jesus would want me to be.

How I live my faith

Living my Faith is a daily 'way of life.' I don't just go to church on Sundays, instead I live my life as though I'm trying to be the way Jesus Christ asked us to be, "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "Serve your fellowman."
