Hi I'm Lancer

I grew up as an only child with no father, now I have 8 children of my own. I'm a Mormon dad.

About Me

I have an amazing wife and 8 children. Yes 8! While we enjoy kayaking, camping and photography, our favorite thing to do together is to cook. We have many wonderful memories of preparing food together, and then eating our masterpieces. I haven't always been a Mormon. When I was 16 I met the missionaries who taught me the gospel. It changed my life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young I wondered what my purpose was in this life so one day I decided to pray and to ask God. Soon thereafter the missionaries came to my home and explained about the restoration, and the plan of happiness. I believed that what they were teaching was correct, and prayed to know if I should join the church. The feeling that came was far more overwhelming than I ever expected. I love being a member of the church because I learn how to be a better husband and a father. I learn about the true priorities in life such as family, and have many opportunities to serve those around me. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ for how it has changed my life and given me true purpose. My family and I are sealed together by authority and can be together forever. that knowledge bring me great joy.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 38 years, and I have been able to serve in the young mens, and scouting organizations of the church for most of that time. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and for the atonement of Jesus Christ and wanted to share the happiness that I had found with others, so I served as a missionary for two years in Guatemala. Three of my daughters have also served missions across the globe, bringing the joy that we have found to others.
