Hi I'm Mitchell

I love science and dancing. I think you make life fun by the way you view it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being busy is part of who I am, and boredom is my worst nightmare. I love learning; I think that learning happens not just in school, but in the life. I am in college studying neuroscience in hopes of one day going on to medical school. I enjoy meeting new people, hearing there stories, and experiencing their hobbies. I learned speak Cambodian while serving as a missionary. Cultures and traditions are really important to me. I am regularly caught swimming, singing in the car, and doing random fun activities. I love living life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and become more grateful everyday for that blessing. I never really doubted most of what the church taught. I have lived my life trying to be what God wants me to be. I feel like that foundation has never led me astray. I love learning about other peoples' beliefs and understanding how they live their life accordingly, but for me the church has always been a great fit. I know that I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ. This doesn't mean I don't have struggles. It doesn't mean I always do the right things, but I know who I am and where I want my life to go. I never feel truly lost and I never feel alone. I know that God is watching over me and guiding my life, and so I continue to serve him and be a member of his church. I continue being "a mormon."

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the sunday school for my student-age congregation. This means I organize scripture study classes, assist the teachers, and try to help everyone strengthen their faith by learning about Christ. I love to hear the faith promoting stories of my classmates. Everyone has a story as unique as their faith.
