Hi I'm Remington Ballard

I enjoy getting to know people and find joy in the small things in life, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I like to work, watch movies, play sports, watch baseball, have fun outside, and being around my family and friends. I also love to drink water. I went to college for a year. I served a 2-year mission for The Lord in the Michigan Lansing Mission. I've found joy in helping people find and follow our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it's true. I love the hope and peace that it gives me in my life. Each and every time I read The Book of Mormon The spirit testifies to me that this is it. The spirit I feel when I read the scriptures is powerful to me and I wouldn't give that up for anything. I have a strong testimony of God's love for all of us. That He knows exactly what I'm going through in my life. That by striving to follow my Savior and continually repenting, I can be forgiven for when I fall short. The Great Physician truly does make up the difference that we can't. I'm Grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ, His example, teachings, and all that He experienced. I'm grateful for what He gave me and continues to give me today, the opportunity to live with my Heavenly Father again and to dwell in His presence. Being a member of The Lord's church gives me an opportunity to really serve others and to help them come unto Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living each day trying to do better, and serving my fellowmen. By going to church, participating in activities in youth when I was younger, and by contributing in church meetings. I have also lived my faith by serving a mission to help God's children find the path back to Him.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Remington Ballard
A testimony is a declaration of something that you have found to be true by The Holy Ghost. In it should be central that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. When members of this church talk of bearing testimony they are referring to what they know to be true as they have prayed and acted on certain scriptures and ideas. The Holy Ghost confirms the truth of all things to all of God's children. It is up to us to choose to believe & act on the things The Holy Ghost confirms to us. Show more Show less
