Hi I'm Forrest

I'm from good old Logan, Utah! I love people! I love literature! I love helping others! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I like to read, write, play soccer, play games, and just generally love having wholesome fun! I have 11 siblings, and two step-parents. I love Charles Dickens and classic literature, along with many other types of books. My favorite book is the Book of Mormon, along with the Bible which are both witnesses of Jesus Christ. My next favorite book is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, I love how he paints the imagery in this book and I love the characters in it! I also love fantasy books, such as Lord of the Rings and the Inheritance series, and a plethora of others. One of my greatest aspirations when I get home is to publish a book that will help others to find more joy and light in their lives. I worked for a year in a Nursing Home as a nurse's aide which was a very fulfilling job. I love helping others, and especially I love doing service for those who can't do things for themselves. I want to become a clinical psychologist to help others solve problems they cannot solve themselves, because I have had times in my life that I needed that extra help myself. I think everyone needs a little extra help at some point in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't always know that the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the true church of Christ today, but I took a leap of faith after reading much of the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of it's truth. I got a answer from God in my heart, feeling a peace and joy incomprehensible which was the Holy Ghost, which showed to me that this was the true church on the earth today. (see Galatians 5:22-24) Since then I have sought to do God's will and follow Jesus Christ in all that I do. Though it's hard, I know it will bring me and my family joy in this world and in the world to come. I invite all who wish to know for themselves if these things are true to read the Book of Mormon, ponder the things which they read in their minds and hearts, and ask God in the name of Jesus Christ if these things are true. I Promise that as you do this, you will know from God that it is true and you will start on a path to infinite joy.

How I live my faith

I just got home from a mission to Richmond, Virginia, and am enthusiastic about helping all come closer to Christ in any way possible. I go to church every Sunday, read the scriptures daily, and seek always to keep myself clean and pure through following God's Commandments. I am not shy about telling others of the happiness I have felt in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how that gospel has been restored once again today. This is a happy message of hope which has changed my life, and I am so happy in sharing it with others!

What is the Book of Mormon?

Forrest
The Bok of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, just like the Bible. It goes along with the Bible, and teaches truths that Christ taught here on the earth. It is an absolutely great book for those who want to further their understanding of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Like the Bible, it consists of the writings of ancient prophets both before and after Christ came, and these prophets prophecy of Christ and teach of His coming. They teach of the importance of having faith in Christ, repenting of your sins, and being baptized, recieving the Holy Ghost to guide and direct you all throughout your life, and also the importance of continuing on this path throughout your life. Of course the best way to find out what the Book of Mormon is is by reading it, which I invite everyone who reads this to do so. I know it will bring you greater peace and joy than you have ever had before. Show more Show less
