Hi I'm Pete

I grew up in Salt Lake City, I have lived in the Denver area for the past 25 years. I have been blessed being a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I have 5 children and 1 grandchild. We have been a family of fun traditions for birthdays, holidays, and going camping and skiing together. I enjoy being in the outdoors and really enjoy fishing, skiing, camping, golf and traveling to new places. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle in the mountains of colorado. One of my goals is to go fishing in Alaska. I have worked in the telecom industry for 29 years doing sales and network design. I have had the opportunity to work on some very exciting projects over the years, which has made my work very enjoyable.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church. My parents taught me the importance of believing in Christ and following his gospel plan. Throughout my life, even as a young child, I have had many blessings and miracle which have shown me the love of the Savior when I follow his teachings and keeping the commandments that we have received. As I have studied the scriptures, prayed and inquired about the truth of the gospel, I have received the personal affirmation that this gospel, this church is the Lords church upon the earth today. A few years ago I visited Palmyra New York, where Joseph Smith received an answer to his prayer as to which church was right. His answer was received as a visitation from God, our Father and His Son. I felt the spirit of the savior at this place and knew that this event truly took place. I have had so many prayers answered to help me and my family in times of need, and through life's challenges. I know that the answers to these prayers have been in part through faith and living the gospel. In addition, the knowledge of the gospel, and God's eternal plan, has really helped to see the big picture of life and deal with the tough challenges. In fact, this week, I received an answer to a c

How I live my faith

I am an active Mormon. I currently work on a committee to assist the single members of our area. We help coordinate monthly activities, both spiritual and social for them to participate in. I also work in the Scouting program. I have been involved in Boy Scouts for probably 30 years from various positions. Scout Master, Merit badge counselor, advancement chairman, etc. I really enjoy scouting as it was a big part of my youth and taught me some valuable lessons.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The key to knowing if the gospel is true and receiving a testimony is through a sincere effort to learn the gospel, pratice the teachings and ask the lord in prayer if this is true. Show more Show less
