Hi I'm Laurie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 23 years to the most amazing man. We have 3 children who are almost all grown up now. I've spent my life dedicated to my husband and my children of whom I adore. They are the most important thing in my life. Now that they are growing up and 1 by 1 leaving the house. I have been able to pursue my dream and start my own business in the Heath and Fitness Industry. I love life! I enjoy running, the beach, sunsets and going on trips with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I was just a youth I had a teacher that said something that really resonated with me. She talked of Joshua 24:15 "Choose you this day whom ye will serve..." I made a decision that day, that I would serve the Lord with all my heart. I have read the Book of Mormon and have received a witness of it's truthfulness. I have sought truth always and prayed earnestly for that witness. As such, I have a strong testimony that this is the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I cannot deny it. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus is my savior and redeemer and only through him will I be able to return to live with Him again. I love Him with all my heart and cannot deny His presence in my life. I want others to feel and know this as well.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life as Honestly as possible. What you see is what you get. I"m not afraid to be who I am. To share what I believe with others when they ask. I believe that example is the best teaching tool. I have had the opportunity to teach and be a leader in the community and at church.  I enjoy service: giving and helping others around me. I would say that I earnestly live my Faith by what the 13th Article of Faith says: "We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul- We believe all things, we hope all things, we hvae endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." This is how I choose to live and it brings me much joy.
