Hi I'm Keith

I am a 14th generation American and a 7th generation Mormon, but my wife and children are the focus, and the future, of my life.

About Me

I am a husband, father and grandfather, grateful to be living the American dream. Like many Westerners, I love to camp, hike, travel and explore this great country. My only noteworthy hobby is buying, selling and working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. As of this writing I have owned 99 vehicles (not at one time!) and am always looking for the next deal. I prefer European cars and have a soft spot in my heart (or maybe my head) for old Land Rovers. My kids grew up working on cars and sharing my hobby, and as we drive down the highway my wife can play "name that car" as well as anyone I know.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a rich legacy of faithful Latter-day Saints on both sides of my family tree. My ancestors joined the Church as early as 1832 and experienced all the joys and hardships of those early years. I have visited the towns where they lived, walked in the streets where they walked and felt the same sweet Spirit of the Lord witness to me that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

For most of my adult life I have been involved in two areas of Church service: Scouting and missionary work. I served a two-year mission to the Philippines and currently serve as a local missionary in my neighborhood. I have been a youth leader for many years, primarily helping young men ages 12-18 achieve their potential as Boy Scouts and prepare for college, marriage and the future.
