Hi I'm Kenji

I was born and raised in Japan. I came to the USA as a Student and now am a resident. I am a software developer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a first generation immigrant from Japan. I am also a software developer working for living. I grew up in a family who practiced Shintoism and Buddhism. I am a husband and dad.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I joined the church when I was a teenager because could not pass the message that a couple of missionaries told me. The message that stuck out was that I had a potential to become like God. I like their message and joined the church. My testimony about my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ has grown so much. I just cannot think of myself without knowing the things I know and applying them in my daily life.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ tells me to be nice to others and be honest to God and my fellow beings. It is the best way to live. One day my brother asked me what I thought of white lies. So I told him that I thought a lie was a lie. He thanked me for sharing my belief. I feel that my family has been blessed indirectly from Mormon church. My parents who are either not a member (Mother) or has not been to church for a while (Father) tell me that they respect the things that I learned from this church and they are proud of me. I am very very grateful for the things that I learned from the church and will sure pass it on to my children.
