Hi I'm Janice

I grew up in Idaho but have lived for over 30 years in Colorado, United States. I love family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 14. I like to quilt, work on my family history, and go places with my husband and family. I work a couple of days a week for the church as a job and volunteer in my church assignment helping the women of our group. My husband and I like to take what we call "cemetery trips" to do family history work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents, my grandparents, and my great-grandparents were Mormon. I stay a Mormon because I have learned for myself through the witness of the Holy Ghost that it is the only way back to my Father in Heaven. I stay because I know it is the only way to true peace and joy. I stay because of the many testimonies I have personally received of the truthfulness of this church. What a blessing it is to have a "lighthouse" so to speak, to show us the way.

How I live my faith

I love my family. I love the friends, neighbors, and acquaintances that I have met in my town over the last 30 years. I hope I have contributed to helping young people and making this a better place in the world. I worked with our elementary and high school parent/teacher groups for many years and have worked in the church with children and teenagers for 25 years. The young people are truly our future and those who think the next generation is failing, need to meet the young people of this church. Now, in the last year, I am working again with the older women of this church. What dedicated, kind, nurturing women most of them endeavor to become!
