Hi I'm Teesha

I was born and raised in Australia as I was born and raised in the Mormon Church.

About Me

I am a young full time Mother. I enjoy being around friends and family. My children are my life. My husband is my heart. I pass the time with reading, online games, socialising with friends, art, make-up, costume, fashion design and dancing. I have given birth to three beautiful sons. My oldest is turning four. He loves running around and making new friends. My next oldest is turning three. He loves to fill his round tummy with all kinds of delicious food. He loves giving cuddles to any and everyone. My youngest would have just reached the age of one, but unfortunately he was taken into Our Heavenly Fathers arms at only three months. He was very precious and we understand why the Lord saw fit for him to be in the presence of Angels. I am currently pregnant with another son who may help ease the pain of losing my last child, but in no way will replace the sweet spirit who was with us not long ago. I love the family that surrounds me. My friends who are there for me. The strength each of them gives me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Church and so was Baptised when I came of age. My mother and father were married in the Temple and my siblings and I were taught to have that same goal for our future. My brothers were taught to live a wholesome life and go on a mission when they turned 19. My sisters and I were taught to live righteously and find a husband with the same standards and is worthy to hold the priesthood. When 14 I knelt down and asked the Lord if the Book of Mormon was true. I expected to feel a warm sensation grow within me like so many other peoples experiences I had heard about. No, instead I felt myself grow giddy with laughter. Like I had just asked a question to something I already knew the answer to. It was True. I knew without a doubt that the Book of Mormon was true and there was nothing that could sway me from that. I may not have a perfect knowledge of the Book of Mormon or the Church but that has nothing to do with it being any less true. Only that my own knowledge of it was inadequate. I am a mother who has lost her baby. My whole purpose in this life is to have my family be with him again. I understand how our Father in Heaven must feel. His children are far from Him. His only wish is that we all return to Him.

How I live my faith

Within the month of losing our son, my husband and I were sealed to our three boys for time and all eternity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Brisbane Temple of Australia. From then on we have been striving to attain a stronger knowledge of the Church and the Book of Mormon. Through attending church meetings, studying the scriptures and having family and personal prayers. As a family we read the Book of Mormon stories from the children's books so as to help our children understand the scriptures. We then have a family prayer so that our boys may feel the Spirit while they sleep. We then have a prayer together as a couple asking every night for our Father to help us be strong. Thinking of our son daily helps us remember that if we are faithful and endure to the end we may return to our Father in Heaven and to our son also.
