Hi I'm Trish

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in New South Wales, joined the church at age 15 and have never regretted my decision in over 50 years.

About Me

I am married with 4 children and 10 grandchildren and have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for over 50 years. My interests are doing craft work and family history. I love long walks with my little dog and having lovely days with my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been religious even from a very young age. I joined the Church when I was 15 because my minister could not answer my question regarding the Godhead. I have always believed God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost were separate personages. This church proved to me I was right and all its teachings have only increased my faith that I made the right decision. My brother met the missionaries first and then he came and talked to my parents. They had answers to all our queries and backup to prove them. I bear you my testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints IS the only true church on this earth today. It can tell you where you came from before this life, why you are here on this earth and where you go after you die. It holds God's Holy Priesthood and all its rights a.nd privilages. I know that Joseph Smith really did see God and Jesus Christ and was given the privilege of restoring the gospel back to the earth in these Latter days

How I live my faith

It is sometimes hard to live my faith fully as my husband is not a member but I strive to be an example to him and our children and grandchildren in the way I live my daily life. Over the years I have callings in our childrens programme, (Primary) our youth programme (Young Womens) our ladies group meetings and at present I am the Faith In God leader for our 8-11 years old girls. We also visit a group of our sisters each month to give them a lesson and to help them in anyway we can. I love the church and its teachings. No matter where you go in the world every ward meeting is the same and you are part of a worldwide family.
