Hi I'm Tania

I'm a Forklift trainer, a State Emergency Service volunteer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied a Bachelor of Learning Management at University that allowed me to be a high school Physical Education teacher for 7 years. Following that I did a youth support role for the Defence Force however now I'm a forklift and warehousing trainer for a training organisation and travel around Queensland doing that. One of my other passions in volunteering for the State Emergency Service commonly called the SES. I love training there and getting a chance to help the community. Whenever there is a storm we are usually out fixing roofs and sandbagging for people. This year I spent a lot of time helping during the Queensland floods and Cyclone Yasi. Other than that I mostly love spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 14 with my mum, sister and brother. Since then we have had many blessings flow into our lives. I love the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love how it feels to be a member of the church. It brings great peace into my life to know Heavenly Father has a plan for me and for everyone. He knows and loves each of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I say I will do, keeping my commitments and being reliable. I love to meet new people and get involved in the community. At church I help organise social activities. I love that the gospel allows me to be myself but helps make me be a better person.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Tania
When missionaries visit your home they will talk about those things that are important to you, for example about family, what makes you happy and about your goals. Missionaries teach about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all of us. They talk about the peace that comes from knowing through Jesus Christ all that is wrong in the world can be made right. They also talk about Heavenaly Father's plan for us and what that means for each of us individually. This plan talks about where we came from, why we are here and where we go after this life. We learn about our oppurtunity to return and live with Heavenly Father and our family again. Show more Show less
