Hi I'm Carol Ann

I am a big and little sister, currently a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of ten children and love every second of it. I am currently a Sophmore at Brigham Young University-Idaho but I am taking time off to serve a mission for the church in Frankfurt, Germany. I am going to be an exercise physiology major and then possibly go on to a Physicians Assistant in the Ears, Nose, and Throat specialty. I love outdoor activities, as long as the weather is nice, and spending time with family and friends. I'm a movie and food junkie, especially when the two are combined. I am a 10 year piano player and still have to count out certain notes and rhythms, but try to improve all the time.

Why I am a Mormon

Some think I, and others, are Mormons because we have grown up in the church and our parents have forced it on us. And while I was born in the church and raised faithfully as a latter-day saint, I am a Mormon because of the lack of doubt that Jesus Christ is my Savior and redeemer. Because of my sure knowledge that heavenly father, in his infinite mercy, would never create anything less perfect than the Plan of Salvation and the principle of eternal families. I'm a Mormon because whenever I think about my life without the gospel I imagine a very lost and unfulfilled life. I'm Mormon because of the incredible blessing of the priesthood and the blessings it has bestowed upon my life. Some have asked "what if you faith isn't true?" and to that I simply respond that it wouldn't make a difference in my decision to be a member of this church because it promises the best blessings in the life hereafter. Blessings that I want myself and others to enjoy.

How I live my faith

I think that I live my faith most by being happy and grateful. Each of us has the light of Christ innately within us and because of that we are naturally representatives of him. Showing charity, or the pure love of Christ, toward every one and just trying to emulate his example by being cheerful and helpful is something I strive to do everyday.
