Hi I'm Chelsey

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to a handsome little boy. My life revolves around the two males in my life. My days are spent reading picture books; on children's outings and playing pretend; cooking and cleaning, giving hugs, kisses and tickles; and finding a few spare moments for quality time with my husband. I love my family and my life. I am so blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon religion, but I have developed a personal testimony that this is the true church of our Savior on the earth today. I have been blessed with challenges that have increased my faith and my testimony that we have a Father in Heaven who loves each and every one of us and knows us personally. I am a Mormon because I want to be happy in this life and I want to be happy in the next life. The eternal perspective of our church is a reminder that our life has a purpose and a plan.

How I live my faith

Most importantly I spend every day teaching my son about the gospel and trying to be a good example to him by being kind, loving, patient and serving in my church. I try to make my home a place where you can feel the Holy Spirit. I serve in my church calling as an Activity Day Girls leader. It is the best calling! The girls I plan activities for are enthusiastic, very talkative, and beautiful inside and out.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Chelsey
The prophet, Joseph Smith, received knowledge from Heavenly Father that each of us should have the utmost care and respect for our bodies and mind to keep us healthy and strong. He was told certain food and substances that we should not eat or drink and other ways we should care for our physical and spiritual health. Some of the things we were told not to partake of include, alcohol, coffee, tea, tobacco, and drugs. We were told to eat grains, fruit, vegetables and meat sparingly. We were also told to exercise. If we follow this guidance, Heavenly Father promises physical and spiritual blessings. Show more Show less
