Hi I'm Ken

I'm a husband, a father of 4 children, and a convert who served a mission in Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a grateful husband and father of 4 children. I love my family! I love to run, ski and travel with my family. I'm an MBA and work as an executive for a medical device company. Raised in New England, I came to learn about the Book of Mormon from friends at Boy Scout camp. In spite of much opposition, I was baptized at the age of 22 and shortly thereafter served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil. Those 2 years were among the best years of my life! My faith in and love for Jesus Christ and his Gospel grew deeply as I served the wonderful people of Brazil. Many years have passed since I returned from Brazil, but my experiences and testimony of Christ continue to bless me as I serve as a husband, father, community volunteer and business leader.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised in a Christian home, I learned to recognize the promptings of the Holy Ghost. When I first heard about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith's testimony of God and Jesus Christ, I felt the Holy Ghost confirm that what I was hearing was true. Though it has been many years since my baptism, I am still a Mormon because of the strong relationship I have with Jesus Christ and for the love and unity that exists in our home as we live the teachings of Christ's church.

How I live my faith

Quite simply, I ask "What would Jesus Christ have me do?" and follow my convictions even if it means standing alone. Early in the morning, I study scriptures and pray to seek inspiration on how I can bless my family, friends and co-workers. Together with my wife and children, we also pray, study scriptures and have family service projects. I bear trials in life with hope as I know that inasmuch as I keep my covenants, God will bless me according to what He knows is best for me. Today, I better understand a scripture I heard from the Bible in my early youth: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." 3 John 1:4
