Hi I'm Jack
I was born and raised in Arizona, served a 2 year mission in Scotland, went to school in Utah, and now I live in Texas.
About Me
I've been married for six years and my wife have one child. I graduated about a few years ago and began working as an engineer and then moved into production supervising. I love to spend time with my family. I like to travel, play Ultimate Frisbee, play or watch basketball and volleyball, and I enjoy cooking. I spend time reading financial, western, cooking, and classic books. Under the right conditions I also like to cycle, hike, and swim. Most of my time is spent being a dad, which is the best tittle of all.
Why I am a Mormon
I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have come to know for myself that it is God's church. Through out my life it has been proven to me through many experience. I have read the Book of Mormon many times. I know that it is a true book. I know that Joseph Smith's testimony and witness of God the Father and Jesus Christ is true. Heavenly Father has answered my prayers many times in confirmation of these things. I also know, through a process of trial and error, that by living the principles of this church I am a much happier person. Only through the gospel can I experience true peace in my life. Being a Mormon has blessed my life and the lives of my family members. I have witnessed miracles wrought by faith, but my faith is based on a personal witness from my loving Heavenly Father.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by obeying God's commandments and trying to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I volunteer in the community and at church. Currently I lead a group of priesthood brethren as an Elders Quorum President. One of my favorite callings and assignments was teaching the three and four year-old children in the primary Sunday school. A while ago I also served as a full-time missionary in Scotland. The church has provided me with many opportunities to get involved at church and in the community. I live my faith by standing as a witness of God at all times, in all things, and in all places.
