Hi I'm Chris Thomas

I'm a Mormon. I live in Missouri, I am an LCSW. I treat soldiers with substance addictions. I am husband and father of four.

About Me

I am a father of four young childrem (11, 9, 7 and 3). My children and thier mother are the joy of my life and keep me busy and active. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work, both from Brigham Young University. I love to be outdoors. I love to country dance, drive trucks, ride horses, fish and work in the garden.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but as a 13 year old boy, I had a powerful spiritual experience that convinced me that God loves me individually and is willing to watch over me physically and spiritually. when I was 15, I read the Book of Mormon all the way through and felt the holy spirit as it witnessed to me that the Book of Mormon is true. I love being a member of the Lords kingdom here on earth and I love talking about my beliefs and how they have changed my life.

How I live my faith

I have found so many opportunities to serve as a member of the church. I learned as a young boy to lead others. I was an eagle scout at age twelve and I got to experience leadership in scouting and in my youth group. At age 19 I went to The Netherlands to do missionary service. Since that time I have been able to serve as a sunday school teacher to people of many different ages. I have lead the mens group in various church congregations and I have had the awesome privilege of working in the scouting program as a leader of 1-17 year old young men. I also involve myself in community service through helping with community efforts and coaching youth basketball. I love the Lord and love to serve his children.
