Hi I'm Gayle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the west to a Mormon pioneer family. My great grandparents crossed the plains to Utah. I grew up in a small branch that met in my grandmother's home. I met my husband in high school, but we didn't really get serious until I had gone to college for one year. He joined the church after dating a few months and we were married in the Idaho Falls temple. I have four wonderful children and three and 2/3 grandchildren. I went back to school when my youngest child was in school and got my degree as an interpreter for the deaf.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by two strong parents. I have always believed in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I guess it was easier for me, but there came a time that I had to gain my own testimony. When the missionaries were teaching my husband I listened to the lessons and realized that I truly did believe in the gospel. That was when I realized for myself that I had a testimony. I knew that Jesus is my older brother and knows and loves me. Having communication with my Heavenly Father is my biggest blessing

How I live my faith

I have been involved in many things in the church. I have taught the children, worked with the youth and am currently working with the women in our ward. I have volunteered in our Family History Library and have been involved with the deaf community. I have the great blessing each month to visit the women in our ward. This not only helps me, but the friendships I'm building are eternal. Every Sunday I interpret for the deaf members in our ward. My life if full with the gospel in it.
