Hi I'm Clint

I make my home in Washington, I'm a sports fan, a golf professional and yes, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am very happily married to my wonderful wife and am the proud father of five children. I have lived in the State of Washington for many years and find the Pacific Northwest one of the most beautiful areas of the country and a great place to raise a family. I have been fortunate enough to turn one of my passions, golf, into a career and have worked in the golf industry as a golf professional, club manufacturer and club general manager for 25 years. I love the opportunity that golf gives me to interact with people and to see them at their best. Enjoying time with friends and asssociates and taking time to enjoy life. I cherish family and friends and try to live my life with honestly and intergrity. I work hard and strive to set an example for my children of the blessings that come from striving to do what is right. Of treating one another with kindess & respect and by doing so seeing those same benefits returned many times over.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know with assurity that this is Christ's church here upon the earth. I know that it contains all the truth and principles that are required for me and my family to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father should we live true to his commandments. The Church & gospel of Christ are build upon pure & simple truths and upon the importance of the family. Unfortunately the blessings of the family are becoming lost in the world today. The sanctity of marriage, the joy of having and raising children are not being taught and held sacred as in time past. The Church holds these principles and bonds sacred and has made a proclomation to the world of the importance of family and of its dedication to upholding these sacred bonds. These are of great importance in my life and as a parent am seeing first hand the benefits and blessings that a strong family and the teaching of true and righteous principles are having on our family. I am eternally grateful to my Savior for his gospel and the the guiding principles in provides. For his eternal sacrifice on each of our behalf. Allowing me to be forgiven for my sins, paying the price for each of us and providing the pathway to return to our Heavenly Father's presence. I know of him and love him as I have felt of his love and presence in my life. I have seen the blessings of the gospel and of obedience to its teachings in my life and the lives of those around me. I am so grateful for the many blessings I have been given and cannot imagine my life or trying to live in this world with its many challenges without the guiding principles of the gospel and of Christ's Church.

How I live my faith

As a member we are fortunate to have the opportunity to serve in callings or jobs if you will within the church. Whether as teachers or administrators, youth leaders or in serving the children in primary we each have been called to serve in different capacities. This allows each member to receive the blessings of service in our lives and to truly be a part of the gospel in action rather than simply veiwing from the sidelines. I currently serve a a counselor to our Bishop who leads our Ward. It provides me the opportunity to work with every member of our ward and help individual members as a teacher and to help provide leadership and counsel to the membership. It has been a great blessing for me to see the faithfulness of the members, how the gospel has and continues to bless their lives,
