Hi I'm Jordi

I'm a husband and father. I'm a photographer. I'm a computer geek. I'm from Barcelona and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I speak Catalan. I am married to my best friend, Diana. Together we have 3 children that keep us on our toes at all times. I love playing with my children and doing anything with my wife. I love photography and the outdoors. I love the ocean and any activity that has to do with it. I love to travel. I am a happy guy. I make my living writing software to help children succeed in school and life. I live in Chandler, Arizona. I served a 2-year mission in California for my church. I became a Mormon when I was 18.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are not Mormons, but they have always loved me and taught me from an early age that there is a God and that He lives. They taught me to love and respect others and to treat them as I would like to be treated. We never went to church, but since I can remember I always felt a desire to know God. I always felt that there was more to life than just what we see, hear, and touch. When I was 11 years old, I would pray everyday and go to church all by myself , searching for answers. I found true answers to my deepest questions in the Mormon church. Those answers are helping me to raise my family with love, patience, and faith. They are helping me to be a better husband and father. They help me to keep my priorities in check. They're helping me not lose my marbles. They help me be a better man.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ and His teachings are at the center of pretty much everything I do in my life. I'm talking about even decisions like "do I need a new car?" I'm not saying I always get it right, pretty much quite the contrary. I make a lot of mistakes, but I often know what to do to fix what I do wrong (sometimes it takes me a couple of passes). I believe in being consistent and in developing good habits. Slow and steady wins the race. My main priority in life right now is to continue to build a strong relationship with my sweetheart and to help my children build that foundation that has supported me through life's challenges. We have family prayer and we study the teachings of Jesus Christ in the scriptures often. I try to lead by example, though I fail many times. I make sure I have a spiritual workout every day - I make time for God in my life.
