Hi I'm Steven

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud father of 5 young children. We have 3 boys and 2 girls ranging from 10 down to 3 months.I have a wonderful wife who I share fun and busy days with as we raise our beautiful children. I love to relax and hang out with my wife and kids at home or at the beach. They keep us busy with school, paino lessons, and various sporting activities and hobbies such as football, soccer and ballet. I work full time as an orthodontist here on the Gold Coast. I am also currently finishing off my third degree in business. So there's not a lot of down time, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because its the single best thing I can be involved with that gives my life a real sense of purpose and meaning. It also enables me to always be reminded of what is truly the most important things in this life are, my family and my God. I am always happiest when my life is centred on the teachings of Jesus Christ which are found within this church. Although I was born to parents who were already members of this church, I had to find out for myself if the teachings and practises were true or not. I found out that they were true when I was about 12 years of age. Since then I have seen so many wonderful blessings pour into my life as a result of trying to live my faith. Iam a Mormon becuase through the Mormon Chruch and through the Lord's atoning sacrifice my family can be eternal - that is, together in Heaven forever as a united family. And because I know deep within my mind and heart these things are true, I am obliged and determined to always be a Mormon and help others learn these same truths and enjoy the blessings which come through membership in the same church that the Lord Himself set up when He was on the earth.

How I live my faith

I am able to live my faith by attending the local church meeting house where our local congregation worships. I am assigned to work with the local bishop and together with the other councillor to the Bishop, we help oversee all the work within the local area. It is my priveledge to assocaite with and serve the youth and several younger and older families and individuals within the local area. I believe my most important calling and work to do is within the walls of my own home where I receive several opportunites to live my faith at home.
