Hi I'm Pete

I'm a Mormon. My wife and I are the parents of four and grandparents of three. We love long walks on the beach with our dog Eddie.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 36 years. We are the parents of 3 sons and a daughter. Our oldest son is married and has 4 children. We live in the coastal town of Santa Cruz, California. When our children were younger I coached them in baseball, basketball and even soccer. I've served our community in various ways. I've been on the Council board for the Boy Scouts, Past President of Kiwanis, served as the Key Club advisor for Soquel High School and also on the board of directors for Easter Seals. I had the opportunity to serve as a missionary for our Church when I was younger. My mission was to Japan and it was a wonderful experience for me. I had the blessing of teaching people about Jesus Christ and about the restoration of the Chuch in these the latter days. We attend the Capitola Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We would love to have you attend with us!

Why I am a Mormon

I've spent a good amount of time studying and praying and have a strong conviction that the teachings shared by Church are true. I know that it can make a huge difference in the lives of others as well. I ask that you too take the time to read the Book of Mormon and then ask God if it is true. If you are sincere, He will answer your prayer. It may not come all at once, but the answer will come. It did for me and it will for you as well.

How I live my faith

I try to be of service to others whenever I can. I believe the scripture that says that we are each others brothers. Currently I teach a class on the doctrines of the gospel each Sunday.
