Hi I'm Karin

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a University student. I love people! I love sports! I love family and friends! I love to have fun, laugh, and learn! I love the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I know God lives. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I know His church was restored to the earth and is led today by a living prophet. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truth. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that these things are true. I know that I have been happy when I live what is right and true.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live and do what is right. I attend a young single adult congregation (ward) where I get to participate in the Relief Society, the women's organization of the Church. It is important to me to begin and end each day with a prayer (as well as throughout the day) and study from the scriptures daily. Even if it is just for a short time. I served as a full-time missionary for 18 months and loved it! I love to be involved in events and sports on campus and in the community, and do my best to be a positive example, love the people around me, and share with others the things I know to be true.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society is the largest women's organization in the world, for women 18 years of age and older. I love its purpose, which is to to help women "increase their faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and help those in need." This is done through church meetings each Sunday, and meetings planned on other days to participate in activities, service projects, etc. It provides an opportunity to reach out to those around you and minister to their needs. Participation in Relief Society is a great blessing! Show more Show less
