Hi I'm Jessica Wells

I love to write, sing, and spend time with my friends and family. I'm a student, I'm a volunteer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Canada, but I was mostly raised in Arizona. I have 4 siblings and 16 nieces and nephews; I love my family. I'm currently a student at a University and I am having the time of my life. I'm majoring in human development and minoring in English. My goal is to eventually get my masters in social work and after that work with adolescents. Ever since I was little I have wanted to help people. So everyday I am driven with the thought of how can I best do that. My education/career path is one of the ways in which I hope to best be of help. In the past I have enjoyed working with several non-profit organizations as a volunteer, and nothing could possibly give me more joy. I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, camping, sailing, and anything outdoors. I also love to read and write. However what I love most of all is the Gospel. I love this Gospel with my whole soul and have dedicated my entire life to living its precepts. With every part of me I know it's true and I want to share that knowledge with the world so that they may feel what I have felt, and that they may know what I know. Through the gospel I have been able to find true happiness and I want everyone I know to share in that. I want them to feel the love of the savior like I have felt it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I know it's true. I was raised in the church, but that is not why I'm still a member. I'm Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church restored on the earth. I'm Mormon because I do more than "just believe", I know. I have tested it, tried it, searched it, and spent my life to this point seeking answers. God has witnessed to me that this church is true. I know the Book of Mormon is the true word of God, and I know God answers your prayers. I'm Mormon because I know it's true, and it's as simple as that.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. My hope is that I remember Christ, his example, his sacrifice, and his love every moment I can. With this hope I go foreword with my day and try to be best person I can be. I'm not perfect, but the thing I love so much about the gospel is that it is a gospel of progression, and that for all our faults, and mistakes, Christ is there to pick up the slack. I try to live my faith in everything I do, because it is such an integral part of who I am. This gospel is my life, and with that comes the pressing desire I have to share it. I've been given the greatest gift, and I don't want to keep it to myself, I want to share it with the world.
