Hi I'm Bennett Brewer

I live in Clay Springs Arizona and have lived here my whole life. I am happily married and have 5 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Dad and this is the most important thing in my life. I worked for safeway for 11 years and then got my own business as a heating and air conditioning contractor. my love if I had my rathers I would make a living raising animals. I was raised on a cattle ranch and love horses and cattle. I still raise a few registered black angus cattle, make a little money but mostly a hobby. We just started a new business raising suri alpacas, I love baby animals and enjoy being around them, baby calves, baby alpacas, baby border collie puppies i have all of these and love them. I love my family and enjoy working to support them and try to make their lives better. The family is the most important unit, however in todays society the family is being attacted from all sides. My love and my greatest passion is that my family is happy and safe, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I was raised in the church by wonderful parents who had a testimony of the truths that are taught in this religion. They taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ through good example. They taught me to be honest, truthful, helpful, courteous, kind and obedient. For these simple teachiings of truths I will be eternally grateful to them. I am still a Mormon today because I want my children and grandchildren to be taught and live by these same wonderful truths. Do I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this church? Yes! and I will explain why. I served a mission for the LDS church ( Mormon Church) when i was 19 years old, I went to the Philippines and served for two years in the Cebu philippines mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There I gained a sure testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I received an ansewer to my prayers to know that the Book of Mormon was really true. I received an ansewer to my prayers to know that this church is really led and guided by a true and living prophet. I received an ansewer to my prayers that this church is truely the Saviors church and that all the truths necessary to enable all of Gods children to reurn to him are found here in. I have served in many positions in the church in my life, all of which have blessed me because of service to others, the gospel of Jesus Christ is nothing less than service to our fellowmen.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as bishop, this calling has trully blessed my life because of the time I am able to spend serving other people. I am greatful to spend as much time as I do with the youth, this is a great and rewarding opportunity. The youth are faced with lots of challenges and evils everyday, they need lots of correct guidence to help them in their decisions. I love the youth, my own children as well as all the youth in our ward. I feel a great sense of duty and urgency to do all I can to help them. I try to be a good neighbor and share in their times of trouble and happiness. We live in times that are tough and we need to get back to the times when a good neighbor was everything. I spend time with my family, we have family dinner together, we pray together and as much as possible I spend quality time with my wife and children. The world has need of families spending quality time together in good wholesome activities. I am grateful for the blessing of being a christian and trying hard to be Christ like in my actions to others. I love the Savior Jesus Christ. I am committed to a life long service for the Savior and to help all our Heavenly Fathers children return and live with him.
