Hi I'm Autumn

I grew up in Colorado, and have never left my beloved moutains. I'm a mom of four, work part time, and I love to bake.

About Me

I have four young children at home (8, 6, 4 and 1 years old). They keep me busy. We enjoy swiming, riding bikes, and going to "grandpa's' lake during the summer. During our cold Colorado winters we sled, watch movies, and wait for Christmas. I am a returning student going back after 10 years. I am working on getting my Masters in Secondary Education/ Earth Science. I currently work part time at a local high school. I work there as an athletic trainer. I get to evaluate and treat all of their athletic injuies. So I am a "mom" to about 150 student athletes. I enjoy going shopping, cooking, getting to see my family, and watching sports (all kinds). I am fourtunate to have both sides of my family live close to us, so we see cousins and grandparents a lot. Popi from Kuwait is one of my childrens best friends over the summer. I love going back to my parents farm, where I grew up. I get to relive my passion for animals, and act like a farm kid for a while. I enjoy my life, we have been very blessed to have all that we do.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a time of inactivity through high school. I fell victim to peer-pressure and the belief that I wanted to act and be like everyone else. I made the choice not be be involved in church actvites and always found an excuse not to go. I made many bad choices. I felt lost, and had no sense of self worth. Due to some AMAZING friends I was reactivated just before I left for college. Through God's grace my pre-assigned room-mate in the dorms was also LDS. I know what it is like not to have the spirit with you, to make wrong choices, and be seperated from His light. I will not suffer those pains again. I love the church, for the peace, direction, and knowledge it brings. The gospel has bless my family, and has helped my understanding of my value as His daughter, and has given me a purpose to become more eternal in nature.

How I live my faith

I work at a high school and so have may opprotunities to share the gospel and be an example. I also have some non-member friends that I invite to church activites. I like to make sure we are involved in the community, through dance, karate, and other activites. I enjoy serving in my callings and like to host get togethers at our home.
